The Szerszámoutlet app is the full mobile channel for one of Hungary's largest tool retailers. It isn't a stripped-down version of the webshop: the complete product catalog, search, order management and loyalty program are all available as a native app.
The priority was seamless integration with the retailer's existing commerce systems. The app reads directly from live inventory and product data, so prices, availability and promotions appear on mobile in real time without any separate admin work.
Tool retail has a particular characteristic: buyers usually look for a very specific product, filtered by a lot of technical parameters. Search and filtering therefore got significant attention, while the loyalty features support repeat purchases.
