GetFlyMate is a cost-sharing platform for pilots building flight hours. Private pilots need logged hours for licensing and further ratings, and that gets expensive, the platform lowers the cost by connecting them with passengers who share the expense of the flight.
It works as a two-sided platform: pilots list planned flights and available seats, passengers browse by destination, date and aircraft. The matching logic accounts for what matters on both sides of the transaction.
Because trust matters more in aviation than in most consumer platforms, pilot profiles, flight data handling and direct communication between the two sides got particular attention during development.
